Aquatic print

A quick post about today's outfit. There were really strong winds today, so making good outfitpictures was almost impossible. Happily my amazing photographer managed it to capture the look properly. I wore my new dress with this brilliant aquatic print on it. The colors are perfect and its shape is my favorite lately. I started with a sort of moodbook (to help me create my new summer/spring look) yesterday evening, and remarkable was the fact that there were many dresses like this in it. I predict that this first one isn't the last one that will join my wardrobe..

Multiple shades

As promised yesterday, here's the first outfitpost with the bag. I wore this outfit last weekend, when the weather was still delightful. It's a pretty simple look, but I think it's still interesting because of the use of items like the two-toned sunglasses and the ombre sweater. Call me conservative, but I'm always careful with wearing see-through clothes. I want them to look classy, even though most people would say they are less decent than high-necked tops or ladylike dresses. However, I believe see-through clothes do have the potential to look elegant, feminine and classy. When properly styled, a cut-out maxi dress or a sheer shirt can be even more chic than a non-transparent piece. And even though this look isn't intended to be very sophisticated and solid, I think it's important to consider whether the see-through item is still decently enough. Anyway, I think the sweater has passed the test. I love it in combination with the black bandeau bra. It strengthens the feeling of spring!

Do It Yourself dress

This dress is in fact a kimono, that I belted to give it a whole other look. I think it worked out pretty well, but it's up to you whether you agree with that. I made it myself last year and I still like it. The print is very cheerful, and the fabric is nice elegantly. Actually, I like almost everything floral-printed for spring. I guess it's because I love the beauty of nature, especially when it's colorful and peaceful. And flowers are the representatives of those two words, don't you think?

ps there's still one day to join the giveaway. Take your chances!

Oh Giorgio

My first pair of Giorgio Armani sunglasses. When I spotted them, I was immediately sold. The pattern on the frame is unique, yet it suits almost any outfit. And its oversized glasses are beyond perfect. Outfitpost follows quickly..

ps have you already joined the giveaway?! There are still two days left.

The fairy

My mother gave me this wonderful hair ornament a while ago, and I still love it. It's from a bridal shop, and even though a marriage isn't on my schedule right now, I love wearing this accessory. I think it suits the top pretty well. The pearls of the crown definitely complement the sequins, and together they give the outfit sort of a fairy look (with some help of the gorgeous environment).

Burberry-esque

I'm not sure how to start this post, because the only thing I want to write is yaaaaaaaaay. Why? Because I'm so so so happy that spring is finally here! The weather is amazing and I try to enjoy it to the maxxxxx. I wore this outfit last Monday and I have to mention I felt very Burberry-esque (if that's an existing word). Not only because of the trench and the hat, but also because of the chic color palette of the look. Beige and other brown shades combined in one outfit always look elegant, in my opinion.

Silence

There was complete silence and tranquility in the park, when we arrived there yesterday. When we left home, the weather was great and the sun shone cheerfully. However, at the time we wanted to take the outfitpictures in the park, the sun was gone and my feet frozen off my body because of the cold. The next time I put on sandals, I pray for better temperatures. ;-) But despite "the feet issue", I enjoyed the calmness of the park. Singing birds as the only sound in the surrounding area relaxes me. I wore a very comfortable and casual outfit so these are probably not the most exciting outfitpics you've seen from me. I hope you like them anyway, because they feature some great items, starting with the sandals I mentioned before ánd my new jacket. Love the fact the latter is exactly the same color as my dark brown leather bag. The hairstyle is very simple to make and it looks nonchalant, but I like it because of the twists and the excess of hairbands.
